North Pole Brewing Co - SUBLIMATION TRANSFER

This listing is for a sublimation transfer.

Sublimation Transfers require garments that are at least 50% polyester or higher and the garments must be light colored or white. If pressing on a mug or another blank, please ensure that your blank is a blank for sublimation.

Sublimation transfers are pressed on garments at 400° for 60 seconds. If pressing a blank, please check that manufacturers recommendation for pressing times.

To apply:

-Roll a lint roller over your item to remove any loose fibers or lint. These fibers can turn blue during the process and are permanent.

-Pre press your garment to remove any moisture

-Press transfer accordingly (400° for 60 seconds MEDIUM PRESSURE or the manufacturer’s directions.)

-Hot Peel

Transfers are printed on 8.5x11” paper. Please note, if you select a design that is more tall than it is wide, it will not be very wide. The designs are sized accordingly with photoshops recommended dimensions.

Transfer Sizing:

Sheet of 6 transfers: 3x3”

Four Sack: 4”

Infant/Toddler: 5.5”

Youth: 7”

Adult: 8-10”

*Sizing is per the longest side of the design*

Recommendations:

-We recommend using a heat press to use these transfers.

-DO NOT USE A TEFLON SHEET!!

-Butchers paper or

-We also suggest cutting the transfer as close as possible to the design to help reduce the chance of transfer sheet marks.

-Amazon carries heat tape which is awesome for keeping the transfer in place!

Please be aware that there may be a slight difference in the color of the image or text on your computer monitor versus the color that is actually printed. All transfers will look lighter on the paper than when actually pressed.

What is Sublimation?

Sublimation transfer prints are for White or Light Color Garments and textiles with 50% or higher polyester count (example: 50/50 blend material or higher). The sublimation ink actually binds with the polyester material to "become one" with it and does not lay on top like other typical transfers. This means longer color vibrancy and life span. Please note: for the best results and deepest color saturation, we recommend applying to 100% polyester. Transfers can be applied to 50/50 materials or higher but will yield a lighter, similar to distressed, result. Many people have wonderful success with 50/50 but we just want you to be aware the higher the polyester count, the brighter the image.

Our sublimation transfers are also perfect for pre-coated sublimation blanks. No additional coating is necessary and will apply to sublimation blanks with superb results! You can find many sublimation blanks online such as mugs, signs, photo plates, license plates, plates, etc. Just be sure the substrate is ready for sublimation - then apply your favorite design!
